Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 4% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 76.3/100, a mean average of 75.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 76.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.0.

Musically creative with rich layers of synth and percussion. The best parts are when they get into a nice groove with the beats and synth loops, as on "Impact". It can become trance inducing with the extended tracks. Then some parts get a bit too repetitive for too long. And it could have used more musical variation - though I liked the jazzy piano on "Monday". Overall I like the album, it's a unique musical statement even if it's geared more towards club or dance.

If you like listening to the same four seconds looped for 6-10 minutes at a time, you'll love this album!
I know this is obviously not music to sit down and study, rather it's music to sit down and study to (maybe). But man does it give me a headache. It's just not my thing at all.
Other than 'Halcyon' this is not worth it. The rest is music that would probably work fine on the dancefloor, but it isn't really fit for an album.
