Slowdive have this ethereal sound to them that is like nothing I've heard before. Graceful where most shoegaze bands are aggressive. Can't believe I've slept on them for so long. They are fantastic!
I was way too late to find this band. I might actually prefer them to MBV...
One of the greatest Shoegaze bands ever; along with others.
They are the only shoegaze band that rivaled My bloody Valentine that too with a different sound. Soulvaki IS SUPERIOR to Loveless is many aspects.

Sadly overshadowed by the brilliance of My Bloody Valentine, but just as important to shoegaze thanks to Neil Halstead's phenomenal songwriting
Pure genius, the second best shoegazing album of course behind Loveless. 10/10 and easily Slowdive's best album.
This is the band with whom I have the most emotional connection. Beautiful.
