Top 40 Greatest Music Albums

I'd like to quote myself as saying that 'the album is the ultimate art form'; I honestly reckon it's a perfect period of time to be able to build and ease suspense, and to take a listener on an auditory journey, encouraging them to experience a range of emotions whilst also being able to highlight their favourite moments for repeated listening.
All the albums in this chart are albums I enjoy listening to in their intended form, from start to finish. There are many albums from which I enjoy a few tracks which don't make it here. I am also only allowing one album per artist, until such a time as I'm allowed to add more than 40 albums to the list.
Hopefully there's something for everyone!
