Should be higher on the BEA charts... Nobody crafts intelligent pop music like Paul Simon. Clever lyrics, soaring harmonies, and a taste for the multicultural. Great stuff.

Criminally underrated. His solo career deserves reappraisal. Sure, he's not as "cool" as Dylan; he's something of a dork in sweatervests, but just LISTEN. Brilliant stuff. There Goes Rhymin Simon is one of the best ever albums. Period.

Always had a lot of time for Paul Simon, though I always preferred his early solo material to Graceland. One of the best singer songwriters out there.
