These are my all-time favorites. (i imagine i've listened to at least 7,000 albums in my lifetime, probably more.) There will be duplicates by artist because there are artists of which i love the output of. This is only self-truth. The album rating of #100 = 83 (BEA 85).
To view my favorite ~5,000 albums of all-time, follow my charts as so: after this overall top 100, look for my charts that start "top albums", which currently span from #101-900. After that, look for my charts that start "top 65r albums" (albums BEA-rated 65). There are "top 65r charts" from #1-#1000. These "65 rated" albums follow the overall chart. So in review, my top ~1900 can be followed starting with the "overall top 100", then the "top albums" charts from #101-900, then the "top 65r albums" from #001-1000.
I started creating chart in BEA in 2011.
* UPDATE: 01/26/2023: Re-evaluating my top 1600+ albums of all-time. Made it through my top 140, so little chance lower ranked albums will shoot up into my top 100.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

Very personal chart - what with 11 Genesis albums (at the time of my rating). I kind of prefer charts that are a bit more expansive & risky. Only 1 album outside the North America/UK bubble - happens to be Australian, so kudos for that.

Not my taste but I think you understand what music is
As a huge Genesis fan myself in the 80's, I understand! I understand! I went from Genesis to The Cure to Radiohead to Wilco in my forward flow of favourites. Very similar tastes, as if you check my 70's and 80's and 90's decade charts, there is a very serious similarity...
