Male artists tend to dominate my chart so here’s a list of some of the greatest albums by predominantly female artists. To explain. The Pretenders are included because, although they were mostly blokes, let’s face it, it was ms Hyde who made the band great. Hope you get the idea. I'm including some compilations but trying to keep these to a minimum
Doing this in alphabetical order, 1 album per artist not including any albums in my top 300 chart. Here goes

I’d totally forgotten about this chart. I could easily fill three charts with great albums by women without breaking a sweat. Got to update this asap. Thanks for pointing this out crona.
