This has had a few listens and it’s really grown on me. An album of substance, good songs and musicianship. Really like it.
This one deserves a little more press. From her alluring voice to her captivating guitar, Anna Calvi has the skills to make an all-time classic album. I'm not sure this is it, but this is a fine place to start (as was her equally excellent debut).
