An artist of extraordinary depth. I find it quite funny when pop stars cite her as an influence, then proceed to give up whatever bushisms they might have to the clinical production line. Then again, I suppose AURORA might have some of her musical DNA. Nothing comes close to this collection of wonderful, expansive songs.
Kate Bush cannot be outdone to me. Probably my favourite artist in history

One of the single most sophisticated, visceral and brilliant solo artists of all time, and perhaps the best female artist of the last 50 years.
Time after time, she has displayed a level of creativity and quality that simply is not found elsewhere, constantly developing a style that she found in her early days and fully embraced. The quirks and oddities of her sound are her greatest strengths - no one else sounds like her, and no one else could possibly do her style as good as her anyway.
Massively influential over artsy and folk music yet also a key figure in pop music, Bush's importance in music knows no end, while her quality as an artist has been surpassed by few and will be preserved in her fantastic back catalog.
And then, she fills her songs with articulations on love, life and more in such a way that it is almost as though she is speaking to you. Nuanced yet also empathasible, she truly has a song for every occasion and every feeling.
What the hell music would be today without her is unimaginable.

The true queen of pop. The Dreaming and Hounds Of Love are among the greatest albums ever released IMO. The rest of her discography is pretty good too!
