A prog-pop masterpiece, there's nothing else to say really. Side A is full of incredible hits ("Cloudbusting" being my personal favourite) whereas side B unfolds like being fully immersed in a great piece of literature, the cycle titled "The Ninth Wave". An incredibly ambitious project, produced impeccably and imaginatively written by Kate herself, that paid off commercially and critically. The pinnacle of the 80s.

Remarkably consistent album with her greatest hits like "Running Up That Hill" and "Cloudbusting". You need a bit of time to get into it because a lot of the tracks seem a bit weird at first listening with all these strange sounds. And the recording quality is very dull. Adjusted bass and treble settings are recommend to really enjoy this album.

Even though the record has this Peter Gabriel Ruins Music vibe, Kate's an amazing singer with a unique voice. She was able to forge a couple of great tracks.

This one of my all time favorite albums. It doesn't matter what kind of music you listen to. I think most people can get into this album.

This was away ahead of its time it took me years to get into it ! The 2nd side is an amazing adventure in lyrical musicianship and I never related to it until I was older. Side 1 is not bad either !

An album of two distinct halves (both brilliant), the second half is harder to get into but ultimately well worth it. 'Hello Earth' is magnificent. In my top 25 of all time.

A great album at the time. Changed my musical direction instantly. Just listened to it again and fell in love with it all over again.

This album gives me the best kind of emotions, its just about my favourite of all time. It is certainly the most sacred. I want to thank her so much for being there at that time and producing this.

Such a cohesive album. It's very hard to surpass such skillful song and sound placement, even today. The fact that it is a "pop" album just makes it much more impressive. Close to a perfect album and one of my favorites to just play from the start.
