A masterpiece. I've been a MASSIVE Beatles fan since a very young age, lucky enough to be introduced to them where others my age were not. Even so, 'Revolver' was a massive blindspot for me, with albums like 'Sgt. Pepper's' and 'Help!' being much more on my radar. This was peak experimental Beatles in my books. Great album from track one to the last.

Probably Beatles' best album looking at a simply commercial standpoint. Catchy, catchy, catchy tunes. Love this album.

Psychedelic Beatles! Was my best for more than a decade, largely because it was considered universally the best Beatles album, and I was on the bandwagon. But even though there has been a resurgence over acclaim for albums such as 'Revolver' and 'Abbey Road' on a wider scope, and my taste has shifted away from psychedlic, there' still no doubting the genius of the album. Concept album, and possibly a big influence on progressive rock, with its unilateral vision that other Beatles albums have failed to realise. Personal favourite from the album is 'A Day in the Life'.

'Michelle' and 'Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)' are two absolute classics, and standout in an album full of masterpiece tracks. Underrated album, and this is even considering just how fondly people feel about this album.

The end of the road for the fabulous Beatles, few bands leave the music world on top. They did just that. Not my favourite, but in such a strong catalogue, to be middle-of-the-bunch is still an accomplishment. A mix of psychedelic, and some more catchy tunes such as 'Let It Be', and such a wonderful cover of the aging Beatles with the long locks, a nice juxtapose to their early-career pop-mops.

Best pop album ever, and it's not even close. I can singalong to absolutely every one of them. Artists of today would pat themselves on the back if they could have even one or two tracks with their magnitude. Great album, even if the sign on the cover doesn't actually translate to 'Help' lol.

I know, we still haven't seen Abbey Road yet!! But look, this s subjective, and this is where my taste lies. Beatles for Sale has a very similar vibe to 'Rubber Soul', with a touch less depth. Great album nonetheless.

'Magical Mystery Tour'. Shows the brilliance of The Beatles to be at #8 and to see this gem. 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and 'Magical Mystery Tour' are timeless beauts.

I love this album. But it doesn't resonate with me as much as some of The Beatles' other works. The album cover is perhaps only matched by 'Sgt. Pepper's' in memorability. 'Come Together', the best Beatles rock song.

Doesn't have the depth of any of the previous entries. This is where it became easy to seperate the 'masterpieces', from what I still consider great albums. 'Hey Bulldog' and 'Yellow Submarine', inparticular stand out in an album that at times delivers.
