Miserabilism as an art form.
Pere Ubu are one of my favourite bands. They annoy my wife so much, that I rarely get to hear them without headphones, so they are one of my top choices when she is not around!
Sonic Youth never fail to deliver. I love this band and I love this album.

I discovered Wilco when they teamed up with Billy Bragg on the Mermaid Avenue album.

This is such a beautiful album. It has been used in so many documentary programmes that it will be familiar to a lot of people.

The 11-member ZEITKRATZER ENSEMBLE from Berlin gave REED’s album a thorough listen and transcribed the sounds to create an acoustic music score for their ensemble to play live. They have used trumpets, pianos violins, cellos, etc to recreate this album. As I listened to it, the sound was so familiar, yet subtely different.
This is not the best thing that Suicide have done, but it is certainly worth a listen. On Blast First records as well!
Breders are wonderful. Their music befits having Kim Deal in them.
A real return to form for Bowie. I love this album.
