I really love this band. YHF is one of the best albums of the 2000s; Summerteeth is not that great, but still pretty enjoyable, and, even though A Ghost Is Born can be a little hard to swallow sometimes, it hides true gold beneath its surface. It's one of the best modern rock bands out there, along with Radiohead(ok, maybe not THAT good), AF, The Strokes, Modest Mouse, the Black Keys and some post-punk revival guys. Nowadays, not many bands are this solid and awesome.

Whenever I listen to a Wilco album I never feel like I'm enjoying it. But as it starts to wind down I always feel sad, and a few days later I'll feel the need to come back to it. Great band, you never know what you're going to get with them.

America's answer to Radiohead. They're critics darlings who've never made the same album twice, while continuing to challenge the confines of the genre they work in. Jeff Tweedy continues to combine perfect melodies with thoughtful lyrics, while his immensely talented bandmates transform the songs into something familiar but unique

My second favorite band. Wilco is truly artistic and free of corporate restrictions. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is a brilliant album which in time I hope will amount to a classic.

If you've never hear their work with Billy Bragg covering Woody Guthrie songs (Mermaid Ave I and II), go do yourself a favour. Excellent stuff, especially Mermaid Avenue I.
