Arguably the great album ever created, Revolver has it all. Paul makes some of the most beautiful songs of all time with tracks like "Eleanor Rigby" and "Here, There, And Everywhere." John also makes some of the bands trippiest songs such as "Doctor Robert" or the LSD influenced "She Said, She Said." This is one of the first albums that George's genius really shines as well. Songs like "Love You To" and "I Want To Tell You" are among some of the many highlights of the album. It's been said before, but this album is seriously the product of all the members of one of the greatest bands in music history peaking at the same time. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

Pet Sounds is a very serious contender for the most beautiful album of all time. Songs like God Only Knows and You Still Believe In Me are simply breathtaking. Like almost all the albums on this list, this is a drug inspired classic takes on you on a trip about life, love, and great instrumental. The Beach Boys were never able to make lightning strike twice after this one, but after an album like this, you don't need to. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

The greatest debut album of all time, hands down. 45 years later the Velvet Underground and Nico is like nothing I've ever heard. Such a unique album. I've seriously listened to both Sunday Morning and Venus In Furs hundreds of times and they just refuse to get old. Timeless album filled with timeless songs. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

Bob Dylan is easily one of the best lyricist the world will ever see. Every song he writes tells a great story, backed with excellent music. It's hard to pick Dylan's best album, but I have to say Blonde On Blonde. From start to finish this album is brilliant. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

Well, no list of the best albums of the 60s would be complete without mentioning Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Considered the psychedelic statement of the 60s, the album sees the fab four at their most experimental. Only the Beatles could follow up an album as tremendous as Revolver with something arguably even better. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

This album, surprisingly, rocks even harder than its predecessor. Led Zeppelin cemented themselves as one of the greatest rock bands of the 60s with this one. The guitar riffs are simply infectious, and regardless of who or how many people they ripped off, the album is still fantastic. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

This album contains what I consider the greatest song of all time in "Alone Again Or" that song has everything. Awesome lyrics, great feeling, and an instrumental section that is just outstanding filled with trumpets, guitar, and violin. What makes this album so good is that everything else following its brilliant opener is just as good. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

Another awesome album from Bob Dylan, this album has his most popular song in Like A Rolling Stone. While this song is definitely the highlight of the album, there are so many other great songs on here. Including the epic Ballad Of A Thin Man. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

I've always said that 1967 was the greatest year in music history and the fact that we already have 4 albums on here from that year helps to confirm it. This album is another great psychedelic album from that year. Jefferson Airplane peaked with this album, and songs like She Has Funny Cars, White Rabbit, and Somebody To Love rank very highly among the best albums of the 1960s. One of the all time great folk albums. I remember when I first listened to this album and I was completely blown away by some of the songs on here. My two favorites, Wait and Think For Yourself are some of the best songs the Beatles ever made. This is when the Beatles truly start to become something great. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

Also my favorite Beatles' record :)
Nice to see CCR's albums. Sometimes I get the feeling that people don't consider them as highly as they should. It's a great band!
Really nice chart!
Cheers!
