Connections 8 (Edgar Winter to ?????
by Johnnyo
The premise is simple, each album must have a connection to the previous one. We'll see where I end up by number 100. An added complication is that i must own the album and I cannot use an artist more than once

The great man plays with a "guest star" on most of these tracks including; Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons & Leslie West. I decided to connect this album through Joe Bonamassa

The album recorded shortly after GN's break up with Joni so seemed appropriate that this should follow Court & Spark. So many great musicians on this alum but I'm going to go with Dave Mason

Jimi Hendrix first heard the song "All Along the Watchtower", from Bob Dylan's album John Wesley Harding, with Mason at the apartment of a friend who had acquired a prior release of the album. Hendrix recorded his own version with Mason playing 12-string acoustic guitar.

I found this quite a tough one, sort of backed myself into a corner here so I'm going to use Jorma Kaukonen again and link him to Hot Tuna
