I like early Joni better, but Coyote is one of the greatest songs ever written. (Edited)
One of the best, if not the best, singer-songwriters of all time. "Blue" is absolutely a masterpiece, soothing and captivating lyrics with a high dose of emotions in her bird-like voice. Favorite song "A Case of You". (Edited)
Joni remains my favourite ever female artist, and as much as I love Patti Smith, Kate Bush, The Sundays etc, she has always been a country mile ahead of anyone else.
Blue is the album, it is quite simply a masterpiece and as good as anything in the history of that whole singer-songwriter-confessional genre, male or female!
The best songs on Blue like A Case Of You, California, River and The Last Time I Saw Richard are just so good, and Little Green could bring a tear to a glass eye!
