'41:a. My Roof Be A Leakin’
An album of Jim Crow Folksy-Blues protest songs delivered with tons of heart. I feel like this album should be in one of those “xxx Albums You Gotta Hear Before You Die” books. It’s just that good. A revelation, really. Raw & real acoustic blues. And I’d never even heard of Josh White before looking for an album from 1941 to pair with King Of the Zombies.
It may be historical in a sense, but it sure needs no handicap. Great stuff!
