Growing on me well. Becoming my favorite folk, (folk rock?) album. Lyrics are fascinating.

77.08 Great album. Bit underrated I feel. The duo that are one of the kings of Folk. 'Patterns' being the gem sleeper. Why this isn't one of their better known tracks is beyond me. One of their best songs in my opinion. 01/24

75.71* My favorite Dylan album. Bit more up tempo & blues leaning numbers on this. There's many catchy tunes but I find it's too long to listen to in one sitting to fully enjoy. 02/25

Numerous music publications have this ranked within the top 10, some within the top 3 of the greatest albums ever made. It's been called The Beach Boys Sgt Pepper. Been curious for many years so grabbed this when the chance arose. My overall thoughts; I don't get it. There's others that are on those lists that I understand why. Sgt Pepper, Dark side of the Moon etc. But with this I can't see it. I've got the magazines which these lists are in and it's always quoted Brian Wilson was an absolute genius to be able to create this. I must be missing something but then, what the fuck do I know. I just listen. Maybe it's to do with the harmonies they do so well. Not saying it's bad. It's quite alright. Just no cigar from me, that's all. 01/25
