As close to perfection as an album can get. Fun concept and very cohesive. Awesome guitar work from Mick Ronson. Favorite tracks are Five Years, Moonage Daydream, Starman, Ziggy Stardust and Suffragette City.

This was the album where Bowie’s experimentation met commercial appeal. As usual Bowie surrounds himself with great talent and this album gets a lift from Robert Fripp. Favorite tracks are It’s No Game (No. 1), Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps), Ashes to Ashes, Fashion & Teenage Wildlife.

Strong follow up to The Rise of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars which couldn’t have been easy to do. This is heavier and more diverse musically. Ziggy goes to America. Bowie does it again. Favorite tracks are Watch that Man, Aladdin Sane, The Jean Genie and Lady Grinning Soul.

Transitional album after Young Americans and before Low this is yet another classic. We are introduced to The Return of the Thin White Duke throwing darts in lovers' eyes. Favorite tracks are Station to Station, Golden Years, TVC 15 and one of his best covers Wild is the Wind.

A new concept invoking an apocalypse and the book 1984. Perhaps the strangest album he ever made. Favorite tracks are Diamond Dogs, Sweet Thing, Rebel Rebel and 1984.

Great opening hits a bit of a lull in the middle before a strong finish. Not as heavy as the previous album. Favorite tracks are Changes, Oh! You Pretty Things, Life on Mars and Queen Bitch.

One of Bowie’s heaviest albums. Really solid throughout grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go. Favorite Tracks are The Width of a Circle, All the Madmen, She Shook Me Cold and The Man Who Sold The World.

Late career concept album was a great comeback although it’s taken years to gain recognition. Best album since Scary Monsters but for real. Brian Eno was back to help. Favorite tracks are The Heart’s Filthy Lesson, A Small Plot of Land, Hallo Spaceboy, I’m Deranged and Strangers When We Meet.

The 1st album of the Berlin Trilogy this took experimentation to the next level especially on the side 2 which is mostly instrumental with electronic and ambient sounds. I prefer side 1 but it’s interesting throughout. Favorite tracks are Speed of Life, Sound and Vision, Always Crashing in the Same Car and Be My Wife.

The 3rd album of the Berlin Trilogy although I’m pretty sure this was recorded in England. The first side invokes traveling to different locales all over the world. The second side turns up the intensity. Favorite tracks are Fantastic Voyage, DJ, Look Back in Anger and Boys Keep Swinging.
