Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. david guetta, will.i.am and benny benassi have production credits in this album, and what are they now? guetta is a sellout, will.i.am wanted to be a sellout and flopppedT miserably, and the last thing i remember from benassi was madonna's "girl gone wild" in 2012.
this record can be compared to other pop artists approach to edm like madonna with "mdna" and lady gaga with "artpop". if i had to compare them i would put kelis' first.
edm's creative peak was in 2010 by an rnb artist.
After proving herself to be an underrated R&B queen throughout the 2000s, like any great musician, Kelis makes a full 180 degree turn and puts out one of the greatest commercial electropop/dance-pop albums in a long time. "Flesh Tone" is a lot better than it needs to be, providing fully-fleshed club bangers whilst having a dark and futuristic edge. The record may get weaker throughout the second half, but the excellent "Emancipate" picks things up again. The uniformly great segues allow the record to feel utterly cohesive - a rarity in pop music. This album is a complete regeneration and I always feel reinvigorated after listening to it.
A good dance album . Could be better , seems like beats need more power and sounds a little bit old right now by the way. But sounds good and is a good album
