Sufjan's most underrated release.
I'd encourage everyone to pick up the vinyl edition as it contains beautifully simplistic piano solos. Had these pieces been included on the original track listing then it would be much more highly regarded by the vast majority. Nonetheless, this album inspires me.

Title track is perfect, rest of the EP is pretty good (specially Heirloom)
Sufjan Stevens released an EP which has more ideas than most bands have on a complete record (or in their life).
I love this album. A good chunk of this is personal to its importance to me. Even so, the title song is one of the best songs I've ever heard and this album will never leave my heart.

wow, how underrated can an album be?
I personally love this thing, especially the closing track, a seventeen minute pink floyd-esque song.
The first track and it's alternate vershion are not too shabby either though.
This album is just filled with ambition, though I wouldn't really call it an EP, since it is an hour long.

I always liked this as a an ep but i never really gave it the attention it deserves. Over the past few weeks i've been floored by nearly every song here. Arnika and Djohariah both leave me completely speechless.
Its a shame more people wont have heard this EP - 'Heirloom' and 'The Owl and the Tanager' are both beautiful songs.

Beautiful. I can't believe music critics have listened to the same record. Shame on them. No, I pity them. You've got to be quite a sad person to hate this. Their sudden liking for his official ADZ release was even more shamelessly ridiculous.
