Have you heard of Tame Impala? May I add it only turns truly awesome after the 4th or 5th listen, after which it only continues to build.
Great Chart! and it's been quite inspiring too. The user is quite a legend around here. I can see this chart's influence on me too through some later members who were influenced by it.

ProfessorSquid 05/02/2012 18:40Nice, particularly the top ten. I really like how Smile has so quickly become a favorite of so many people. Although I wouldn't call that the best record of "last year" it was the release I was most excited about.
