"Ugly Is Beautiful" has a very novel sound. Its sounds like a mixture of late Beastie Boys, Blink-182 and the Strokes. If there was a 90's nostalgia movement in music it would sound like this album. Despite this uniqueness, I find myself rather neutral on the project. I dislike the strange filter he puts over his voice and a lot of the repetitive lyrics. Alternatively, I think the arrangement is solid and the theming consistent. The balances out to the overall feeling that this is an album.

A weirdo, a meme and a scooter-lover resulting in a slap to the music industrie (an ironic slap), but with a very good production and publicity in social networks. Idk if is a genius or a good joke (or both).
Some interesting tracks, my favorite is "Burn me alive"
