"Very good solo record. It runs slightly out of steam towards the end but for the most part it's a solid and eclectic album with nods to pop, soul, blues, jazz and rock."  Reply

"For such a major event, I’m surprised I have not listened to more music about the pandemic. Certainly some surface level references but nothing really conflicting with the event. That was until I heard “Dance Fever”. Florence paints such a vivid picture of the removal of live music by the plague...."  [+]  Reply

Sci-Fi Lullabies
Compilation
"Very few bands, if any, have B-sides as strong as early suede. The first disk of Sci-Fi is as good, if not better, as suede and dog man star. I think if disk one had been released as a 3rd anderson/butler's suede album it would rank alot higher on the site. Disk two is pretty forgetable however"  Reply

"Some astonishing groove metal can be found here, and pretty much every song offers something different, leaving you wanting more. Piss Christ is probably the most overlooked, impressive track here, sounding like something from a sci-fi film."  Reply

"A serious OME album was a little unexpected but it’s done very well! The production is mellow but still interesting and the lyrical content is A+. Favorite track is Happy Wasteland Day."  Reply

"This is my fav album of MCR (compared to three cheers, and the black parade. I didn't check the last album). I think the latter two have a more professional approach and are definetly more produced and polished into detail, which is appreciated. But the roughness and honesty of this album just do..."  [+]  Reply

"Such a cool band. This album doesn't disappoint. First track is one of those slow building songs which plays as a nice ramp up to their killer single Processed by the Boys. This release is just as cool as their older stuff but with a continuous spooky wind instrument type thing going on throughou..."  [+]  Reply

"An undiscovered gem. A sweeping, symphonic masterpiece. This is not the Focus of Sylvia or Hocus Pocus but a more highbrow and elegiac work (although there is still a bit of yodelling)"  Reply
