"Every copy I've seen says 1972 - only Wikipedia seems to have it as 1971. This is the best KA album by a distance in my view - with just the right amount experimentation and whimsy, spread across a range of hugely diverse but outstanding tracks. The title track is pure joy." Reply

"There are so many good Neil Young albums, but for me, this one rings the most true, the themes, arrangements, music, band, all seem to gel so well...my favorites, "Coming apart at every nail", and "Little Wing". "Maybe it's just that I'm a Flaming Lips superfan, but I quite enjoy this album. I can now see this is what the Lips were trying to do on Oczy Mlody, but weren't successful in doing. These are clearly very Lips-ian songs, and some are literally Flaming Lips songs; The Floyd Song is reworked on the..." [+] Reply

"Fantastic folk-jazz fusion. Elements of Van Morrison, Nick Drake, and a tinge of more American oriented folk. Walker's voice is sharp and clear, cutting through the loose arrangements as the one clear indicator of melody and structure. Just a fascinating listen." Reply
