"Not sure why they aren‘t massive. Ok, no art rock with a whiny singer. That might explain the position on this site. Instead you get highly energized indie soul (?), very catchy, adictive with some sort of a dirty street vibe. Very enjoyable album." Reply

"A really fantastic recording and performance. I'd say this outdoes the studio recording except for Another Brick in the Wall Part II, Comfortably Numb, and The Trial (all of which benefit from more polished studio work on the normal versions). Everything else just totally smokes the studio versio..." [+] Reply
"It's all about the repetitive drone in each song, alongside dark lyricism. The Black Angels get away with it, and they do it well on Passover. The driving guitar riffs and rhythm; they're the AC/DC of Indie and Psych Rock. They've got a few good albums, but Passover is the best." Reply
