"The first cassette tape I ever owned. I still love listening to it. The first half is a lot stronger than the back half. David Coverdale started to figure out he could meld his blues based arena rock to the hair metal aesthetic and have a bunch of hits on his hands."  Reply

"Originally my Number One album of 2001, in a year that I saw her live, which may have had some influence on my feelings toward this album. I still love this one, even though it's a change of pace from her classic previous release, Car Wheels. This one is much more bare and subtle than the classic..."  [+]  Reply

"The working men and tune crafters march on. They're not aiming for the moon here, just aiming for the crowds and the ones they have converted. Would appeal to one who misses Oasis and Blur and wouldn't mind hearing a guitar band from across the Atlantic."  Reply

"This live album has actually stood the test of time it is not that bad as far as live albums go. Captured live in the U.S.A. there are some different takes on some well known songs Suffragette City and the Jean Genie stand out along with a live version of Knock On Wood."  Reply

"After her unfortunate death back in 2001, I always felt that her best record was her last record due to it being experimental. However, after I have listen to this album, this is one of my personal favorite albums and Aaliyah's best album that she had. Just wished that she didn't passed away so e..."  [+]  Reply

"Motor Booty Affair is my favourite Parliament album. It even stands tall above many Funkadelic albums, which are typically my preferred between the dual P-Funk acts. It's the funnest, funniest, grooviest, slickest of the bunch, with every track being killer. Even its cover is awesome. Mr. Wiggles..."  [+]  Reply

"Max Richter's score for Wayne McGregor's dance piece 'Woolf Works' based on three Virginia Woolf novels (Mrs Dalloway, Orlando, and The Waves). Being one of classical music's most forward-thinking composer's the music is surprisingly, more concerned with creating a sense of pathos and empathy tha..."  [+]  Reply

"Exuberant and playful female-led rock music. Not exactly post-punk, or new wave, (though there are some new wave synths), has more in common with mid to late 80's jangle-twee indie. Lots of great songs, though the abrasive guitars and high-pitched vocals get a bit tiresome. 'Too Big For Your Boot..."  [+]  Reply

"The album itself is odd, with a few tracks that should simply have not been included (All That I Need Is to Be Loved, What Love, which are almost complete trash) but it includes the greatest piece of music ever written. Yep, ever! If you've never heard God Moving Over the Face of the Waters, sear..."  [+]  Reply
