"It's indie and all that, but it's got a little extra rhythmic interest than the usual indie band. There also seems to be a bit of a new wave hangover influencing the music on a few songs, which blends surprisingly well. This is an an album only a Brit band could do, and it's the best blend of UK ..."  [+]  Reply

"Being a Big Thief fan I naturally wanted to check out their lead singers second solo album and I'm pleased to say its good With a strained craggy voice reminiscent of Joanna Newsom Lenker strums through a largely acoustic set of delightful tunes perfect for a quiet summers afternoon If you in any..."  [+]  Reply

"It took a few listens but I'm there now , this album goes ok . The star of the show is no doubt Iceland born vocalist Rakels Mjoll who sounds like BJORK jacked up on whisky and steroids with her quite unique and rather cute vocal range. Also I'm generally not a lyrics guy but there are some power..."  [+]  Reply

"This album is a let down, definitely one of his worst albums. I do not recommend this to anyone for any occasion unless you have a serious fetish for underachieving albums. Best song: Empire State of Mind. I wouldn't bother with the rest of the album it's not worth the time."  Reply

"A catholic mass to the sound of rock music and psychedelia. Beautiful album. "Christian worship has forms as many as the creative energies of Man. The Mass in F Minor is one of these." (by Stan Cornym from the back album cover)."  Reply

"...and Lost Together has become a staple of high school slow dances and first dances at weddings. These guys know how to write about love, losing love, and getting high while reflecting on life. Such ability to pull so much emotion out every facet of a song - a plaintive voice, poignant lyrics, o..."  [+]  Reply

"The first studio album bought after my Madness introduction with Complete Madness and still enjoyable now. Madness seemed to grow up a little on this one and although the only really well known track is the brilliant Our House I think this was their first really consistent album.
