"This is one of those oft-forgotten alt-rock 90s albums which blend catchy instrumentation and hooks for an album which should be vying for most people's 90s top 100. The album is often thrown away as a one-song wonder ("closing time"), but that's not the case. It's a solid album throughout."  Reply

"In my eyes, Sam Cooke is the greatest male singer of the 20th century. He had more soul than anyone I've ever heard, and this album bears no exception to that gift."  Reply
