Cate Le Bon sembra cantare con un filo di voce ma non è così, canta canzoni che non appena sembrano ricordare qualcos'altro prendono subito altre direzioni, canzoni che a tratti ricordano i Velvet della banana, altre volte la new wave ( un pezzo sembra essere una cover dei Joy Division ma non lo è… ); canzoni spesso minimali con un nonsochè di buffo.
