"I'm a sucker for harmonies and America knows how to do them well. On the first album I really only liked A Horse With No Name and I Need You but this album is nearly without any flaws, whether it is on slows or harder edged tracks. Of course the best harmonies are to be found on Ventura Highway, ..."  [+]  Reply

"Completely agree with Goliath easily their best album. Punk energy and guitar but also at the same time have that bruce Springsteen full band, honky tonk piano, classic rock n roll sound too which I think makes them stand out from other groups at the time."  Reply

"More the work of four individual solo artists than a group, which is why it isn't surprising that despite the huge success of the album that they'd split up less than a year after its release. Regardless, the songs are stellar and some of the acoustic instruments on some of the tracks hinted that..."  [+]  Reply

"The Stable Song is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, and the rest of the album doesn't disappoint. I'm shocked that he isn't a more prominent name in the music world, and I'm thankful to have stumbled upon his music."  Reply

"This is probably one of his single greatest shows when taken as a full set start to finish, but there are a few sloppy moments here and there (more so on disc 1). Most songs here have better performances elsewhere (except Star Spangled Banner and Foxy Lady, I'm fairly sure this has my all time fa..."  [+]  Reply

"Bomb Squad produced 2 tracks on this, Prince Paul did 2 and the rest was Sam Sever with the band. Great record and the first time we got to hear MF Doom (Zev Love X) on Gas Face. They rip into Hammer on that track and further down the line the lads ran into serious trouble because if it. My favou..."  [+]  Reply

"Undeniably, the sonic output is quite mesmerizing, yet I find myself at odds with the lyrical content. It grates on my senses to such an extent that any attempt at a second listening becomes an exercise in futility. The words seem to channel the musings of a 13-year-old grappling with the enormit..."  [+]  Reply
