"2 out of five just for Lady. The rest of this LP sounds like a Backstreet Boys lower quality imitation. The acoustic Lady version is totally awful." Reply
"It's Spoon with some pretty whack '80's synth thrown in. Spoon: good, '80's synth: dubious ... but then, it is whack. It's a fine piece of work with some predictable highlights, seeing as who's behind the microphones. Britt Daniel continues to edge forward in his cumulative career argument that h..." [+] Reply
"This is a pretty cool record for what it is. The textures on the title track are worth coming back for. Just skip Over The Rainbow as an obvious mistake." Reply
"I've never been too keen on Four Tet's sound. Overall it was an enjoyable listen but there are brighter spots in the electronic space that are worth exploring." Reply
"This album (and the singles from it) helped introduce the lyrical brilliance of Bob Dylan to a much wider audience. PP&M's cover of Blowin' In The Wind was a pivotal moment - I've added the song, via this album, to my own Dylan covers chart." Reply
"Very good hard rock/heavy metal album. Best 10 songs average is 89,2/100 and the album can get very good 90/100. "This is the album I kind of expected this site to rank very highly.... I'm not saying I think it's amazing but if y'all are going insane over FKA Twigs and Fiona Apple then why sleep on this? I ask b/c I legitimately want to know. I'll need more listens to get an accurate read on this." Reply
"Nice early 70s jazz-funk album. Love Bobbi's flute! Very melodic and soulful." Reply
"Mr. Yoakam's third record is a standout. Containing two number one singles there is not a stinker on here. The Buck Owen's duet "Streets of Bakersfield" is just fantastic. Though not a fan of 80's country Dwight's first three albums are an exception to the 80's malady." Reply
