Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. 100% synthpop. The group felt pressured to produce this album and thus all albums after took a turn towards industrial. Although some of my favorite songs are their industrial ones this is actually a pretty complete synthpop album whereas there were a number of one hit wonder synthpop acts back in the early 80s
A surprisingly competent New Wave/Synthpop release.
It's interesting certainly. Sounds nothing like their later work, which has a very Industrial approach. This is practically New Wave and Synthpop.
