The first track is what sold this album, and the next two are good, but the rest of the album is just... OK. After their consistent first album, they worked more variety into their song styles - to the detriment of the album, I think. Nothing terrible or even bad, it's "alright" overall. But the first album is better.
I absolutely hated this band when they started playing them on the radio when I was a kid. However, I'm willing to revisit this album because of the amazing cover art and the fact that one of the band members looks like he wants to be Robert Mapplethorpe.
This album is difficult to like.

starting with a killer this record is loosing slow but steady favor. all together i can listen to it without wrath, but it seemes quite meaningless to me.
