I actually really like the back and forth between Krauss and the other vocalists, it mixes up the album very well. Progressive bluegrass is incredible, I really enjoy Krauss' violin/fiddle and viola work, really stands out when there are those moments.
I think this became a new favorite of mine!
Progressive bluegrass by a top-notch group of musicians. It's nice to hear a band that can actually play real instruments and a singer that just sings the song.
What a voice! There are 3 or 4 tracks on this album where she doesn't sing and the band do something or other reasonably well, but the 8 tracks where she sings are just sublime and it's better than her overrated collaboration with Robert Plant. (Edited)
