One of the prettiest and catchiest albums I've ever heard. The blissful curiosity seeps through every song, and gives you a little pit of sad reminiscence in you stomach with every listen.

The Unicorns breakup resulted in the formation of The Islands. The sound is approximately the same, but cleaner and more refined, mature dare-i-say, which results in an album without "Cut Our Hair"'s peaks and mountainous missteps. They genre-hop a bit too, from electronic minor-glitches to hip hop. "Return to the Sea" is as passionately-deep as it is varied as "Rough Gem" and the frenetic "Where There's A Will There's a Whalebone" highlight on the return of everyone's favorite indie lo-fi head-scratching band.
