Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 70.7/100, a mean average of 70.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 70.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 12.4.

Missing a lot of the edge that made Attack on Memory so special, but it's a solid release. Modern Act is a major standout track.
Something was lost on this album, a certain angst or ferocity found on the previous two albums. They're a little less nu-grunge and more rock, which i have no problem with, but the songs are less memorable for me; Dylan sounds more content (or complacent?) and loses some edge as a result.
Better than Here and Nowhere Else, but not as good as Attack on Memory, still nice album with some good tunes.
I like Cloud Nothings. I like this album. It's pretty good. The only outright dud is "Darkness Rings." Otherwise, this gets better with every listen.
Strange year is awesome!

A-
Not going to lie I was pretty disappointed with this release. I used to really love Cloud Nothings but I couldn't get into this album. I can't tell if I just got older and grew out of Cloud Nothings or their new album is just really sophomoric. Mabey it's a grower.
Its not its prior counterparts but this is still a damn good time!
Not entirely sure how to feel about this record at the moment as out of a personal opinion I prefer the heavier stuff they have released on their other records. This album can still be loud and a load of angst. Cloud Nothings have not proved me wrong yet.
