Have u ever wondered what would have happened if Courtney Love had decided to do whatever it is that she does...SEDUCE.STALK. It's your call, America!...and went after Tim Armstrong of Op Ivy/Rancid fame in the wake of [i]Live Though This[/i]? Well wonder No more. Super fun music that channels all that pseudo-rage of majors pretending to be indies during the Alt.Rock 90s. Sure it's contrived, but it's still incredibly fun!!!
Remember my brother showing this to me when I was about 10 years old. I remember just how blown away I was with Dalle's alarmingly-powerful vocals. The songwriting (for a punk album) is fucking decent, and will leave you tapping your toes for most of the songs.
Like most other albums like, Coral Fang is bounded by the slowly-withering genre that encapsulates it, yet like i mentioned before it manages withstand these limitations and create something impressive and enjoyable for anybody who once-in-a-blue-moon wants to feel like their music is bludgeoning them with a microphone, in a good way of course.
