A chi poteva interessare l'ennesimo live degli Stones ? A nessuno mi dicevo, prima di acquistarlo. Poi ho capito: andatelo a dire ai cubani che questo è "solo" un concerto, che questo è "solo" rock'n'roll ! Lo si vede ( nel DVD ) negli occhi della gente che questa musica non è solo svago, lo si capisce dalla gioia di un popolo chiuso in se stesso da mezzo secolo che per loro la Swinging London, Woodstock e tutto il resto sono qua e ora. Gli Stones sembrano capirlo e, cosa che mai mi sarei aspettato, estraggono dal cilindro il loro miglior live da venticinque anni in qua ( ovviamente è d'obbligo non scomodare i live storici… ).
amazing that hardly anyone has heard this. Maybe their best live album ever. The BBC documentary was also brilliant.
