A unique voice, great lyrics and brilliantly crafted songs. I can listen to this album over and over but it is for a more subdued mood.

I worshipped the ground Natalie Merchant walked on by the time this album came out, to say I was looking forward to it is an understatement. I loved the album and played it constantly, even more than my Maniacs stuff. I think I've grown a BIT weary of it in recent years though, I come back to it now and then, but it's not one I still listen to all the time like Jagged Little Pill or Tuesday Night Music Club.
The stylish album which fits to the peaceful feeling.
