"Its oh so quiet" is hilarious...I remember walking into my first bar in Madison and the video for this was on the TV, first time I every heard Bjork.

After a fairly poppy debut (which I did enjoy), I was excited to hear Bjork go a little darker. I love the sonic world this album lives in.
It's got kind of a weak final two tracks, but otherwise this album has a RIDICULOUS amount of amazing songs that are unique and experimental yet addicting and accessible. With some of the best production of the 90's, paired with such a distinct and expressive singer, this album deserves all of the praise that it is given, maybe even a bit more.

My favorite Bjork album so far. Army of Me is one of the best opening tracks in music history if you ask me. I only wish "It's Oh So Quiet" wasn't included on the album. It's a beautiful song, but it just doesn't fit for me.
