A real mixed bag here. "Hyperballad" is one of my favourite songs of all time and "Post" harbours other great songs like "Army of Me" and "Isobel" , but too often one stumbles across tracks that feel like dead air and quite frankly do nothing for me . (i'm talking about "the modern things", "you've been flirting again", "cover me" & especially "headphones"). so yeah, half great and half really not. she'd go on to make masterpieces from '97 to '04 anyway, and if this was the necessary step to craft a record like homogenic then so be it

It's got kind of a weak final two tracks, but otherwise this album has a RIDICULOUS amount of amazing songs that are unique and experimental yet addicting and accessible. With some of the best production of the 90's, paired with such a distinct and expressive singer, this album deserves all of the praise that it is given, maybe even a bit more.

The more I listen to this, the more of an absolute miracle of a record it turns out to be.

Veeeery close to Vespertine imo, two of her best. You've Been Flirting Again is the "worst" song here, and it's a good song. Everything else is spotless.

elhenzo, least favourite track hyperballad really?

For me it's easily the best on the album and one of the best songs ever to be honest.
