The original lp version I wore out my copy of when it first came out is the one I still love and the one I'm rating--it's really a great pop record, a tight single album with all the fat trimmed. The full-length version lingers a bit too long, I think.
Brian Eno and David Byrne, a match made in music heaven. This record is groundbreaking and unlike anything ever recorded before 1981. A musical mish-mash of sounds that somehow fits together perfectly. A warning this record is not for the casual listener. If you want to be challenged and expand your musical horizons, listen to this album.
