Best Tracks: The Perfect Me, Cast Off Crown
A harder, rockier Deerhoof. It works well enough, if not for feeling a bit unfamiliar.
Deerhoof va al pop, con raras incursiones en la balada de piano, el hip-hop y hasta las guitarras flamencas. Este propósito queda claro desde el arranque, con la sucesión de tres canciones en disco más excitante de la década ("The Perfect Me"-"+81"-"Believe E.S.P."), aunque ellos parecen arrepentirse al final con "Look Away", una épica noise de doce minutos que remite a sus primeras grabaciones.
