@flamingyesdept Congratulations on finishing your first album, and having the guts to put it out there! It took me literally YEARS to do that myself. Unfortunately you're going to get negative feedback along the way, Radiohead got panned by critics, Led Zeppelin got panned by critics, it happens to everybody. Don't let two ungenerous commenters get you down :) I haven't listened to the album extensively enough to give feedback, and quite frankly you probably don't need it, just keep doing what you're doing.

Hey I'm an 18 year-old in my bedroom, cut me some slack. I didn't want slick production as I think it ruins most modern recordings and makes them dull and lifeless. My influences include Big Stars' 3rd, which has very loose and raw production which I find incredibly powerful and beautiful. Naturally I haven't been as successful as that, but again, it's a debut by a teenager. Give me a break why don't ya x
