There is definitely some really solid sounding alt rock tunes that provide enough emotion in the vocals. Some songs lack that, but as an overall project, it's good.

This was the first YMaS album that I listened to, and I really enjoyed it. The album revolves around slower songs and ballads, but I loved that. "Spell It Out" is my favorite song. It has a great payoff and builds very well. "Plus One" is an honorable mention as it rocks hard. I really enjoyed this album, but it is all stuff I've heard before from other similar bands. It isn't much special, but it is very good. If it had more of a unique sound and identity, it would've been better.
