The more I listen to this album, the more consistent it gets. True to its name, Irresistible Bliss is chock-full of blissful textures and irresistible basslines. Lazybones is one of the best tracks the band ever wrote, and the upbeat Disseminated is an awesome head-bobber with an old-timey vibe. The two album closers are brilliant, as is the classic opener. This album is well produced, and the band's chemistry is unreal.
I just can't get over the atmosphere this album conjures. This is not only my favourite Soul Coughing release, but one of my favourite albums of all time.
Super Bon Bon and Disseminated are two of my favorite Soul Coughing tracks, but on the whole I just don't think it's as consistently good as Ruby Vroom.
Underrated, nice flow to it and a lot of fun. Favs; Super bon bon, Soft serve, Idiot Kings.
