My very First Beach Boys Album - it was a constant on my 8 Track Player from 1974-1977. Every song is a highlight.

Several song versions sound weirdly muffled like “I Get Around”, “Fun Fun Fun”. Listening to this album, it just sounded weird and when played against the original mono releases, this just sounds cramped and less dynamic. I haven’t read anything about this containing new masters? What’s up?
Stunning album.
One of the best "best ofs" ever. Classic after classic. Also eliminates the need to track down those weak, pre-Today albums.

The only Beach Boys album you really need. The definitive greatest hits collection, you start here if you're interested in Beach Boys music. Then, if you want more, you can move on to Pet Sounds, Surfer Girl, Shut Down Part II and the rest.
