Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 9% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.9/100, a mean average of 76.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 76.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 5.2.

To me this album has crazy potential. The first 9 tracks are amazing but unfortunately it becomes a bit more inconsistent afterwards. A couple of tracks, especially "she knows what she wants" and "way i am" just don't fit the aesthetics of the album. Still a quality album but it could have been so much more.

A nice comeback that pretty much revitalised his career. Now that grime is "in" after the dance craze of 2010-2014 thanks to stormzy, skepta etc, this record seems more in place with the mainstream and helped to propel Dizzee back to modest heights. Make no mistake, this is no "Boy in da Corner", but it's good enough.

Dizzee Rascal makes a return to form with his sixth LP "Raskit". The production moves away from the pop plaguing his career into more classic hip-hop vibes with diverse influences. His lyricism drastically improves; intelligent explorations of inequality & gentrification ("Everything Must Go") occur along with a pervading sense of hopelessness at the current zeitgeist ("Sick A Dis") which hearkens back to his first two great albums, yet this LP is far from a drag.

The beats are great, the delivery even greater and "Raskit" becomes his best work in at least the past decade.
