This has definitely been the year of badass women (well, hasn’t every year?), and few are as badass as the Diva du Wassoulou herself, Malian singer Oumou Sangaré. It’s been a while since we’ve heard any new material from her, but she’s made up for it with a funky, feverish and modern record that laughs in the face of toxic masculinity.
