Very decent work, still relevant nowadays.
The Stones are legends.
I'd agree with the previous comment, this is only really for those, like me, are Rolling Stones completists. Not for the casual listener as it was recorded at a lime when they were still finding their feet.
Intriguing archival release from the Stones featuring recordings the band made for the BBC during the early part of their career. All the classic rockers are there including never before heard versions of the Stones tackling, Roll over Beethoven, and, Memphis, Tennessee. The sound quality sinks a few times especially on, It's all over now, and others. In fact I'm a little surprised by how bad the audio is in places. Still, it's an enjoyable document of the band just before they started to write some of the greatest rock songs in history. For die hards only though, to be honest.
