I enjoy this Foreigner album a bit more than the others.

A great album, with catchy ballads and other rockers, A definitive Foreigner, almost their best.
What a debut! Foreigner's first release is consistent, well-executed and full of great songs, including a handful of rock radio classics (Cold as Ice, Feels Like the First Time, Fool for you Anyway). Although their sound evolved with the coming years and decade, Foreigner left a mark on the musical world right from the start with this self-titled release.

This is one of those albums that you enjoy listening to late at night at a moderate volume. With the exception of two songs, the entire album is a master piece.

Best drunken karaoke album ever. Journey has got nuthin on this...
Though corny and obvious at times, with some drivel ("Headknocker," "Fool for You Anyway"), Foreigner's debut holds up surprisingly well. "Long, Long Way from Home" is wonderful—probably my favorite song of theirs—and the first three tracks are top-notch. If you like seventies power pop, Foreigner at their best can be pretty irresistible.
Brilliant first album by Foreigner. I think the later efforts possibly have greater highs but no album beats this one as all tracks are of a consistently high quality. Favourites are obviously the hits but also The Damage Is Done, Fool For You Anyway and I Need You.
